What you are doing

You are creating a dedicated trading environment, connecting it with minimum-permission API credentials, choosing a HEDGERON engine and launching automation only after every preflight check passes.

Why it matters

A correct setup separates trading activity from your main exchange account and gives HEDGERON only the permissions needed to read and trade. Your capital remains on your exchange.

Before you start

Use accurate identity and jurisdiction information. Prepare access to Bybit, your email, an authenticator app and enough USDT for the selected engine. Do not use a VPN or false information to bypass exchange restrictions.

Step by step

  1. 01Create a Bybit account and complete the security steps available to you.
  2. 02Create a dedicated Standard Subaccount. Do not use a Custodial Trading Subaccount.
  3. 03Transfer supported collateral from the Main Account to that subaccount.
  4. 04Create a subaccount API key with Contract Order and Position permissions only. Never enable Withdraw.
  5. 05Create your HEDGERON account, choose a membership and complete payment.
  6. 06Connect the Bybit Standard Subaccount and allow the server-side security check to finish.
  7. 07Choose Yield, Pace or Active, allocate at least the required full capital and launch.
  8. 08Confirm Dashboard, Sentinel, Shield and Telegram states before leaving the setup flow.

What you should see

The exchange connection should show VERIFIED. A launched bot may be ACTIVE while waiting for a valid entry; no immediate trade is required.

Security check

HEDGERON must reject a Main Account key, any withdrawal-capable key, a read-only key and a key missing Contract Order or Position permission.

Common problems

API creation is unavailable

New Bybit accounts can have a temporary API-creation restriction. Follow the period shown by Bybit.

The bot does not open a trade immediately

ACTIVE means the engine is running. It can wait for valid market conditions.

Capital is below the minimum

Add supported collateral or choose an engine with a lower minimum.
